BWY FOUNDATION COURSE 2

DEEPENING YOUR PRACTICE & STUDY

The British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course 2 builds on the Foundation Course 1, continuing to explore the various aspects of yoga.  Allowing participants to delve even deeper into their personal practice of asana, pranayama, kriya, mudra, bandha and meditation and gain a greater understanding of yoga philosophy.

​

Practical techniques and personal development in the context of yoga philosophy.

​

The course is suitable for teachers and non-teachers alike.  If you've taken the Foundation Course 1 or similar and for teachers wishing to refresh their training.

​

Lucie and Anna have worked on several Foundation Course 1 together and would now like to offer the Foundation Course 2 to enable students to go even deeper into their yoga practice.

The course has 7 Sunday morning sessions held online over 7 months (9am - 1pm) with 2hrs of additional home study each month, concluding with a 2-night/3day residential retreat in May 2023 (Friday 2pm - Sunday 4pm).

Course dates (2022 - 2023) - 16th October, 13th November, 11th December, 15th January, 5th February, 5th March, 2nd April, 19th-21st May.

​

Course costs - £785 plus £60 BWY registration and Â£37 BWY annual membership.

​

Online Taster Session Sun 18th Sept, 10am - 1pm, £20.

LUCIE LANDAU

Lead Tutor

Lucie’s interest in yoga started with her first visit to India when she was 17.  At 18 she met her spiritual teacher and trained with him for over 30 years, sometimes spending several months a year in India. Her main interest is yoga philosophy and how to apply it in daily life.

​

In 1999 Lucie re-trained as a yoga teacher and then went on to SOAS to do a degree in Hindi and Indian philosophy.

Lucie teaches regular classes, workshops, meditation courses and runs retreats. She has been teaching the BWY Foundation Course and Teacher Training Diploma courses since 2005 at her studio in Robertsbridge, East Sussex.

ANNA KNOWLES

Co-Tutor

Anna is a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Teacher holding the BWY Teaching Diploma (500hrs) and a Yoga Nidra Teaching Certificate, has completed a Meditation Course with Satyananda Yoga Centre and training in Yoga for Menopause and Yoga for Restful Sleep. 

​

Anna has been teaching in the Hampshire & Surrey area for the last 7 years offering weekly classes, workshops, weekend retreats & yoga holidays.
