Service Description

In this 5 week online course we'll explore the deeply relaxing, balancing & meditative practice of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a guided practice taken lying down in Savasana (or your preferred relaxation posture), focusing on the rotation of consciousness.  We’ll look at ways of setting your own intention for practice (suggestions provided), which can be transformational in nature if practiced regularly.   If you’d like to learn to meditate but struggle sitting quietly, Yoga Nidra can be a great gateway into meditation whilst also being extremely restful, restorative & rejuvenating.    The Course includes: * A brief introduction to the history & philosophy * The stages of Yoga Nidra * Sankalpa - setting your own intention for practice * Gentle asana & pranayama to prepare * Yoga Nidra practice sessions * Video and audio recordings of the Yoga Nidra practices for home use * Scripts for teachers * Time for group discussion, Q&A & supporting handouts  Open level - no prior experience necessary £125 for the course including video and audio recordings for home practice, scripts for teachers £75 if repeating the course again
