Kerala is a region in south west India, known for it’s beautiful beaches and lush vegetation, earning it the name of "God's Own Country".  The state is also renowned for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant festivals, and delicious cuisine. Additionally, Kerala is famous for its Ayurvedic treatments and ecotourism initiatives. 

On my recent trip to Kerala, I found a wonderful gem to hold a yoga retreat, the newly opened Utopia. Bali style accommodation overlooking rice fields, just 10 minutes walk to lovely Odayam beach (pictured below). Varkala is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away with it’s stunning cliff top beach, beautiful sunsets (pictured below) and laid back vibe.

February is a perfect time to visit Kerala with temperatures around 22-28 degrees celsius during the day, lovely and sunny with little chance of rain, temperatures are a little cooler in the evenings.  Join me for a welcome break from our winter.  

Twice daily yoga on the rooftop yoga shala overlooking the palm trees and rice fields (apart from travel days). One yoga free day during the week to allow time to explore the local area.

Prices include 10 night’s accommodation and breakfast, group dinner on arrival day and the last evening, filtered water, teas, yoga tuition and return airport transfers to Trivandrum Airport. The transfer is approximately 90 minutes from Trivandrum.

£250 non-refundable deposit to secure your place, 2nd deposit due in August 2025 with the balance due by 31st December 2025.

Visas are required for India, a 30 day e-tourist visa is approximately £25, which you can apply for online.

It is a condition of booking that all participants take out travel insurance at the time of booking to safeguards against cancellation and other eventualities. Payments once received are non refundable.
